The Batesburg-Leesville varsity boys’ basketball team dropped their final two games of the season against Strom Thurmond and Saluda to finish the season with a record of 7-14 and 3-7 in Region 2-AA.  The Saluda game was a defacto play in game after Saluda defeated Crescent earlier in the week to tie B-L in the standings.

The Rebels came into the game with hopes of winning the Region 2-AA championship and looked like a conference champion as they jumped out to a big lead going up 25-0 by the end of the first quarter.
