Gospel Music Center plans to lift its voices after COVID-19 silence

The Master’s 3 and the Soldiers of Faith will perform for the first evening of worship at the Midlands Gospel Center since the COVID-19 outbreak began.

Silenced for the past two months because of the novel coronavirus shutdown, the Midland Gospel Singing Center will once again hear live music on Saturday night June 6.

The performance venue on Martin Smith Road in Gilbert will present The Master’s 3, a gospel vocal trio from Lugoff, and the Soldiers of Faith, a quartet featuring Batesburg’s own Joshua Quattlebaum. They groups will perform starting at 6 p.m.

In a release, the Midland Gospel Singing Center stated that it “will be following social distancing guidelines.” Still, light refreshments will be served.
